Pay & work arrangements
Advertised pay by required experience
| Group by | 0–2 YOE | 3–5 YOE | 6–9 YOE | 10+ YOE | YOE unconfirmed |
|---|
YOE bands use JD-supported minimum experience. Each cell shows posting and usable salary counts separately. USD annual lower/upper medians require at least 4 salary records. Missing pay does not mean no postings.
Remote & hybrid support
| Group by | Postings | Fully remote | Hybrid | Onsite | Conditional | Unconfirmed |
|---|
Count · share of all postings in each group. Explicit JD evidence only; unconfirmed does not mean unavailable. Fully remote may have country or state restrictions.
Monthly trend
Latest month versus the previous month, independent of the period above.

Data & method
Scores & reading
Posting text is scored as 0 no signal, 1 mentioned, or 2 repeated or emphasized in responsibilities / requirements. Charts show averages across usable descriptions; insufficient text is excluded. Automated scores can be wrong and do not represent hiring thresholds or probabilities.
Dates & coverage
Uses posting dates, or first collection dates when absent. All 1-, 3- and 6-month windows end on the latest snapshot and include closed roles. Duplicates are identified by URLs, requisition IDs and cross-source evidence, never title alone.
Updated daily with job data
Covers collected postings, not the entire hiring market.
Grouping
Big Tech and Frontier AI are fixed cohorts. Other stages require explicit public-company or funding statements in the posting; otherwise they remain unclassified. Groups do not imply reputation, exact size or current funding status.
Big Tech: Google / Alphabet, Amazon / AWS, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Adobe, Salesforce. Frontier AI: OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Perplexity, Mistral AI, xAI.
Models and domains follow user and product signals in posting text. Groups are ordered by scored posting count, with unclassified roles last. Domains overlap, so their counts cannot be added.
Salary bands use explicit advertised USD annual ranges for identified US locations, classified by range midpoint, not actual earnings. Hourly pay, other currencies and unrecognized values remain unclassified. Locations use explicit countries, states and listed metro areas; US roles without a state and multi-state areas are separate and remote does not imply US. Accessibility replaces Production code. Explicit negations are excluded; repeated preferred skills alone are not treated as strong requirements. All historical periods are recalculated with the same current rules, never compared against old scores.
Monthly comparison
Change = recent − prior average, calculated before rounding and shown to 0.01. Changes below 0.005 are flat. No comparison is calculated if either period has fewer than 4 scored postings or incomplete archive coverage. Sample composition may differ; changes do not establish market trends or statistical significance.
Only aggregates, basic posting information and scores are public. Raw descriptions, personal fit scores and application records are excluded.
